2 table spoons ghee
4 large (720g) carrots,coarsely grated
400g can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon
1/2 cup (85g) raisins, chopped
1/3 cup ( 45g) almonds toasted
Heat ghee in large pan, cook carrots, stiirring until soft. Add milk and cardamon, cook, stirring occasionally, until nearly all liquid has evaporated. Stir in raisins and nuts. Serve halwa warm and cold.
